Employes’ Retirement System (ERS)

The Employes’ Retirement System (ERS) of the City of Milwaukee manages the System’s $5 billion pension fund. The ERS was created by an act of the Wisconsin Legislature in 1937 to provide retirement-related benefits for members and their beneficiaries.

Milwaukee Retired Police Association (MRPA)

The Milwaukee Retired Police Association (MRPA) began in 1975 and is open to all MPD personnel who have retired or who have reached 25 years of service .  This includes not only officers but members of MPD’s civilian staff as well as spouses of deceased MPD members.

 

The Milwaukee Retired Fire & Police Association

The Milwaukee Retired Fire & Police Associationhas been in existence since 1933 supporting Firefighters, Police Officers, their families, spouses and survivors through fellowship, advocacy and outreach. We meet four times a year in person, send out six newsletters and keep in touch with emails and Facebook. Our main focus is on protecting and safeguarding the pensions and healthcare of all our members. If you are a retired firefighter, police officer or survivor you are welcomed and encouraged to join our group.
